Keystone High Pressure Laminates

Keystone Laminates Inc, based in metropolitan Philadelphia, PA is a manufacturer of high pressure laminates. This thirty six year old company has been providing their top quality laminates for vertical and horizontal applications.

Keystone’s specialty lies in selling commodity colors to OEM’s, distributors, mid and large size end users at extremely competitive prices. Currently, the commodity colors include White, Almond, Black and Gray. Other solid colors, wood grains and patterns are also available. Keystone Laminates are manufactured in gloss and matte finishes. Both finishes are stocked in 0.6mm and 0.8mm which fulfills most application needs. Other thickness and finishes are available upon request.

FABRICATING
There are various core materials which are good for use as substrates Keystone Laminates. Some of those are particleboard, plywood, and inorganic fiberboard. Fabricators must use precaution to select proper substrates for intended use. The surface must be uniform and smooth. Some material e.g. Plasterboard, gypsum boards are not recommended to be used with laminates. Laminates should be bonded using adhesives and techniques as recommended by reliable manufactures and by ANSI A 262-2-1979. For more information refer to NEMS publication # LD-3-1995.

APPLICATIONS
Keystone Laminates are made from the fines, premium raw material, to be incorporated in a host of applications such as tables, chairs, cupboards wall panels, cupboards, counter tops, and just about anything you can think of, including ceilings. Other suggested application include store fixtures, displays, cases, wall systems, dividers, columns, and vanities; in homes, offices, showrooms, hotels, restaurants and hospitals – to begin with.

THICKNESS, SIZE, AND FINISH
All colors, designs, patterns, wood grains, are available in a range of thickness from 0.55mm to 12.0 mm. Standard sheet size is 49 x 97. Other finishes manufactured are Texture, Matte, Gloss, Satin and Shell.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
All laminates are made for indoor use. It is recommended that two people handle sheets when moving them around to prevent damage. Laminate surface can be cleaned with warm soapy water or a damp cloth. Difficult stains can be removed with household bleach and rinsed with clean water. Do not use cleaners with acids or alkaline; they may damage the surface.
